PromoTex Expo|International Trade Show for Promotion, Sports and Workwear
Sustainability is having a momentum these days. We are happy to introduce our partner member PromoTex Expo and their international trade fair concentrating on sustainability of the textile production chain. PromoTex is a key meeting point for all major international textile manufacturers to find out what is currently happening in the industry. From the 12th to the 14th of January 2021 the PromoTex Expo Trade Fair will be the first event of the year to present promotion, sports and workwear as well as textile finishing services throughout Europe.
Who are you?
PromoTex Expo is the International Trade Show for Promotion, Sports and Workwear and is organized by the worlds biggest trade show organization Reed Exhibitions.
In January 2021, at the PromoTex Expo, the international industry meeting point for textile advertising and communication, about 20,000 textile decorators, textile specialists, promotional product distributors, sign makers, industrial buyers, designers and agencies from more than 80 countries will meet all major international textile manufacturers (esp. well-known brands), importers, textile distributors and service providers. The proportion of international visitors will be around 50 percent. The around 120 exhibitors are positioned in the PromoTex Expo in hall 12 with the main focus on sustainability. Furthermore those textile companies which are looking for a direct connection to the promotional product industry are located in the PSI halls 9 to 11 and are highlighted as textile specialists.
The exhibitors show trends and new collections of promotional textiles, sports and workwear, corporate fashion, accessories, textile promotional items, terry goods, home and household textiles as well as the service of decoration, mass customisation and personalisation.
What’s your mission?
The main theme of the PromoTex Expo is sustainability in the textile production chain, the special area “Textile Campus” is the hub for information, networking and education around sustainability. Together with the parallel trade shows PSI (the leading European trade fair for the promotional products industry) and viscom (Europe’s trade show for visual communication), which covers the entire field of textile finishing machines, the entire spectrum of textile, haptic and visual advertising will be presented. Thus, on three days at three shows of an even larger community with more than 20.000 unique visitors, concrete synergies will be offered and the maintenance and expansion of business contacts promoted.
Where are you located?
Reed Exhibitions Deutschland GmbH – a division of the global Reed Exhibitions company – as the organizer of the show PromoTex Expo is located in Düsseldorf. The show takes place at Messe Düsseldorf on 12th to 14th of January 2021.
How did you start and when?
PromoTex Expo trade show was launched in 2019 as a kind of spin off of the international trade show PSI (https://www.psi-messe.com/en/)
What are your services/ products?
PromoTex Expo trade show takes place every year at the beginning of January in Düsseldorf. The highlights of the show are the Textile Campus with the focus on sustainability in the supply chain and the catwalk with presentations of new products and trends.
