What's a Code of Conduct?
It is a set of rules outlining the norms, rules, and responsibilities or proper practices of an individual party or an organization concerning CSR topics as well as a wider scope of sustainability efforts. To leverage the level of trust and to establish common, measurable, and liable understanding between industry players (brands and manufacturers worldwide), a set of recommendations, order specifications and commercial terms to agree on with business partners will be provided within this Code of Conduct Guide.
This Code of Conduct Guide strives for alignment with international standards and universal principles but has sought to provide additional specificity from a sectoral perspective like: The NICE Code of Conduct Guide, UN Global Compact’s ten principles, UNICEF and International Labour Organisation’s convention, the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and many more.
